That's when I found the answer to the problem I was having. Net hogs are programs that will eat your memory. They cause the game to crash. Poison fish cause the game to freeze.To stop these bugs, you need to make sure to only play the game in 'safe mode'. The game's default settings are good enough to keep the game from crashing and freezing, but if you play in safe mode, your memory will never be eaten. This bug only occurs if you have a fresh copy of the game and is not present in an older version. The Fortnite leak is a problem for everyone, and it's fixable.
